Sharp pain in leg, do I need to call 111?

I started oestrogen patches about 3 months ago and today I keep getting a sharp pain in the same place in my leg. Slightly worried it could be a clot. Is it a risk on HRT?

Transdermal is very low risk for DVT, but obviously that doesn't mean no risk.
Is your calf swollen, hot and tender?
When I was worried about DVT after a C section my GP pulled a tape measure from his drawer and measured each calf!

unlikely. Look up DVT on google and photos.
Your leg would be swollen, red, sore, skin tight, etc.

Transdermal HRT doesn't cause any more clots than you would have as a woman not on HRT. So unless you are at risk for other reasons it's not likely.

Thanks for the reassurance. No, it's not hot, red or swollen, wonder what it is.
