What would "kill" sex? Lube? If you have a supportive partner far from it in my opinion.
You could try sea buckthorn oil, that helps a bit but if you are bleeding then I would say you are beyond it....

Sorry but what do you mean by this? I'm not using anything whilst having sex as it would kill it ..

You mean lube?

Go to the site Menopause Matters.co.uk
On the home page there is a photo of their magazine with Kirsty Wark on the cover. Click and read online. Page 12 Vaginal atrophy. That's what you have.
You need vaginal HRT (estrogen cream or a tiny pessary) from your GP.

Vitamins aren't going to work.

Here you are- page 12 click the arrow on the right hand page.

menopausematters.co.uk/issue48/mobile/index.html

and use the menu on the site to read about perimenopause, HRT etc.

If you are bleeding after sex please make an appointment with your GP. Best to get it checked out.

annoyedand · 16/07/2017 11:18

I only came off my period three days ago but will monitor it and if it happens again I will.

I think you need to separate out a lot of this.

Are you bleeding because your period wasn't finished?
Is there something else going on like a cervical erosion that is causing the bleed?
Is your vagina so dry it's bleeding after sex?
Is the hormonal feelings PMS or peri menopause?

You are actually very young for all of this. 52 is more usual than 42. If you are having irregular periods and signs of what appear to be menopause, see your GP.

I did but they tell you to write a diary and I forget to as
My life's busy and then il be honest when it affects my sex life I then get upset about it I also have a lot going on in my life so could be feeling down due to this I really just don't know !
