Does anybody suffer with a sore itchy groin... mines been like that for over 12 months. The doc gave me an anti fungal cream a few months ago but it never stopped the problem .

Not sore but so so itchy.

PollyPerky · 10/07/2017 07:14

when you say 'groin' do you mean the area where you legs join your torso? Or do you mean in between your legs round your labia?

Ginandplatonic · 10/07/2017 07:20

Yep sore and itchy (assuming you mean labia/vulva). Bloody menopause!

PollyPerky · 10/07/2017 09:28

DO NOT SUFFER.
This is vaginal atrophy (if it's your vulva) and you need estrogen cream from GP.

Go back and get some Ovestin cream or Vagifem pessaries....so many women are diagnosed with thrush, given anti fungal treatment when what it is is the start of VA.
Do not leave it, it will get worse!
