Did you start doing anything weird when your menopause started? (light-hearted)

I started yearning for a detatched bungalow by the sea.

I had been a complete city girl but now can't bear crowds and just want some peace and quiet!

Any strange (non-medical) symptoms you'd like to share?
(I'm waiting for a hot flush to subside)

No. I think this is more a change of heart over lifestyles in midlife, not anything connected to menopause.

ha!
I'm 49 & I don't think I'm even peri-menopausal. That said, I have sudden love for mango. I.cannot.eat.enough. It's a Brand new craving.
I have also turned into an exercise freak in last year, like never before. Oh, and my confidence & resilience & creativity are super high.

I presume some kind of huge crash is heading my way??!! Wink

Not necessarily Ragged! I feel I have loads more energy than I did a couple of years ago, so maybe it's going to be a longlasting change for the better.
I have a new food craving for poached salmon which is odd, as I was never that keen beforehand.

Maybe your body is craving Omega 3 and telling you ?

Good to hear that about energy, Snarf. Salmon sounds good. Then again, I am soaking wet on the train right now, & hungry, so any comfort food has appeal!

I got another kitten and my idea of a good night out is to stay in 😬
