I'm 39 and for the last 3 months I have had spotting for 3 days before my period starts. My cycle has also been shorter than normal. I've been to the gp who sent me for blood tests and I have a scan booked in for 2 weeks time. I have no other symptoms but could this be the start of peri menopause?
