Testosterone - safe around a child?

Hello, a private specialist has prescribed low dose testosterone cream from a compounding pharmacy (not in the UK) as part of my HRT treatment. To be taken at night, rubbed onto inner thighs or belly (hands washed thoroughly afterwards). I have a 6 year old DD & I am worried that she might come into contact with it. She sleeps in my bed, so sheets, pillows, pyjamas main concern. If I use the cream in the morning, there is less likely to be direct contact as it will be under my clothes. Is there a risk or am I overthinking this?? Hmm

You are overthinking. If the product is the same as estrogen gel, the instructions say no skin to skin contact with someone for one hour after applying. The chances of it getting onto bedding once dry then being absorbed by another person is remote, surely?

Thank you Polly Perky. Overthinking is my speciality HmmIt's a cream not a gel, feels a little tacky some hours after application. Good to have reassurance. Results so far (a few days) feel good. Sleeping better, more energy. Dare I say that the brain fog is lifting...Star

Personally I would apply it in the mornings!

And the shoulder is the best place for testosterone cream or gel to be applied as it doesn't do well at all on fattier areas like thighs and tummy. Much better and faster absorption on the shoulder.

And I apply mine in the mornings. It can stimulate and being insomniac anyway I don't want anything to add to that! I love my testosterone!

Thanks Patchouli. So far, so good with my testosterone cream. It's been a short while but I seem to feel refreshed & awake! I'd be interested to know your experience & how long you have taken it. Any side effects? hairy shouldersWink?
