Should i expect the signs to stop? I am currently on evorel 75mg and have been for a couple of months. (And an IUS) Since being on this dose I have managed to come off venlafaxine. I am still getting some usually mild hot flashes and palpitations, but still can be several an hour. But a couple of weeks ago I was somewhere very hot and couldn't leave and had a really bad and very obvious flash with the people around me asking if I was OK. Since then I have started leaving the old patch on until it falls off so wearing 1new and 1 old patch for most of the week. I am also only 40 and so expect to be on HRT for the next decade.

Talk to whoever prescribed the HRT. If it's not working then the dose isn't right.

Thanks. It feels as though I am finally getting close to the right meds for me
