Spotty back and shoulders - get checked out?

I'm 44. I had a hysterectomy in November due to having a large fibroid and although my uterus and cervix was taken, my ovaries were left in place.

Over the last couple of months I've had dreadful spots over my back and shoulders, just as bad as anyhting I had as a teen. A quick google tells me this is a sign of menopause. Do I need to go and get hormone levels tested? Or just wait and see if this is the start of my ovaries packing in?

Blood tests are not reliable during peri.
I think you need to go and get treatment from a dermo for your acne if that's what it is, and then see what happens to your hormones.
