Wondering if this is a symptom of peri?
I'm only 42 but early menopause runs in the family. Other symptoms are:
- shorter cycle (23-26 days)
- heavier bleeding
- much worse PMS esp mood swings, depression etc. I've always had it but it now lasts for nearly two weeks. Putting a massive strain on my marriage.
I'd never had particularly sore breasts before my period. I now have terrible tenderness from day 11 or 12!
GP ordered blood test but I get the impression there is no infallible way of knowing via bloods if someone is peri or not.
I've read "Your Change Your Choice" - would welcome any other book recommendations.
