Premique low dose

Has anyone had problems sourcing Premique low dose HRT?
My pharmacist says they are being discontinued.
My Dr found it hard to find an equal To the dosage and ingredients but thought Indivina would be a good substitute but now found out today that Indivina has supply problems too.

I don't want to go cold turkey and get all my problems back.
What are all the other ladies who take Premique doing?

I know you might be happy on it and it's not a criticism of you, but those old types with CEE are really outdated now. Most women are using estrogen that's the same as what we produce ourselves. They may also be less safe long term re, serious side effects.

You have plenty of other options which are in this table. Femoston is the one closest to our own hormones.

or you can use an oestrogen only patch or gel, and then add in the progesterone with another product- either Norethisterone or Utrogestan.

Thanks for the reply, Yes I know it's not ethical either. My doctor admits not knowing anything about bio identical hormones.

She persists with the older form of HRT and asked me to do my own research, she will only prescribe what's in the BNF.

Everything on that link is in the BNF- they are not 'compounded' products made privately in a lab which is something quite different. They are mainstream HRT available on the NHS.
