At the end of the summer I had a reminder for a smear test. At the time my periods were regular (I'm on the pill) but for various reasons I couldn't get to see the nurse at the right time of the month. So in November I was all ready to ring the clinic on the first day of my period and book an appointment, but no period came. December: same situation. I would guess I'm starting the menopause (had a few other symptoms) but how do i organise a smear test if i don't know if / when my next period will be? Or do I just hold out and wait for a few months.
