I've found a great deal of reassessment has been going on in my head recently which seems to be a time of life thing. Looking at relationships and friendships, unpicking the many mistakes I've made and looking at who and where I am now and who and where I'd like to be in the future. It's not always easy having these these thoughts, it can be painful; I've made contact with old friends and have naturally drifted apart from others. I'm changing my job too.

Quite a few girlfriends say they've experienced something similar. This time of life seems to bring with it a need to look back in order to move on. What are your experiences of this?
