I'm 49, have had periods being a bit up and down for a couple of years but really nothing else, still pretty much regular..My friends younger than me have almost stopped their periods and are having hellish hot flushes. My friends my own age have found themselves bursting into tears over nothing and being exhausted to the point of sleeping during the day..or having periods flooding them unexpectedly.

I'm just dreading this all kicking in! I feel its all being stored up for me somewhere, all waiting to hit me with a bang!

Who'd be a bloody women, eh Hmm

You and me both. I'm 51 and still waiting with dread for the 'big bang' to happen

do you still get periods beehoven? it seems to start when the periods start to end. I find mine getting a bit heavier and more annoying in general, but it must still be better than all the other crap kicking in!
