Elleste and fed up

Hi need advise I started my first packet of Elleste and feel no better the green tablets have made me very low am not sleeping palpitations the usual stuff I know it takes time for the tablets to start working should I hang on in there or stop them I just feel very low my daughter went to university yesterday and I miss her so much the days are very long my doc prescribe Elleste because of sweating I haven't had a period since May but am having peri symptons sorry for moaning but any advise please

Oh poor you- hard when they go to uni.

The problems you are having is because the green tabs or progestogen- and they give PMS type symptoms for some women.

The best way round this is to try different types of HRT until you find one that suits you better. Don't worry too much for now- once you have finished the progestogens and are back to the oestrogen-only tabs, you should feel less low.

I've not used pills myself- I use oestrogen gel and a natural progesterone called utrogestan- but I'v heard other women taking pill form HRT that Femoston can cause much less PMS- maybe ask your dr?

Thankyou for the quick reply but the doctor doesn't want to see until I finish three packets I don't weather to continue and see if it gets better plus the itch all over is driving me crazy women lol have it hard ??
