Would like to hear some experiences.

Basically, whether you've gained or lost weight during this period, and whether you've attributed it to the menopause itself,or hrt.

I started on a new course of hrt in December. I immediately put on half a stone and have struggled to lose it despite being quite fit and sort of watching what I eat. I don't eat many sweets, puddings etc. The weight is around my middle. I've read that hrt shouldn't have any effect on weight gain but my body didn't get the memo.

Prior to this, I tried 3 other types of hrt which didn't change my weight at all.

I'm only sticking this this hrt as it has done wonders in all other aspects of my life, so the weight gain is the trade off.

I didn't even realise you can try different types.
I'm certainly gaining weight, and I'm concerned hrt will compound the problem, and hoping I can avoid that.
