Deodorant needs changed [smile]

Has anyone else found they are getting a tad smelly?
My hygiene levels haven't faltered at all and I haven't changed my deodorant brand but I sometimes feel the need to freshen up.
Is this part and parcel of this menopause malarkey?

I've always sweated like a navvy Grin but is worse now during menopause. The best (but expensive so stock up when boots have a half price offer) is Triple Dry. Put on every night as it absorbs better. After a couple of weeks you only need to apply every other day - for most people - but I still need to apply every day, for aforesaid sweaty Betty reason. And I even supplement with a spray deodorant for stressful days at work and to freshen up after a hot sweat.
Good luck

This is me too

it's shite isn't it?, I shower every morning and sometimes I realise I am niffy, it hacks me off as I am the only on in the bloody house who showers and wears fresh clothes everyday.

I might have to give that triple dry a whirl Smile

Thanks guys.
So do we think it's caused by the menopause?

I don't know - I'm 50 next year but have a mirena so haven't had periods for 14 years anyway.

I'm also at least a couple of stone overweight which probably doesn't help the situation.

I've suffered with night sweats for the past couple of years and have been told I'm in pre-menopause (very low AMH levels, had to have IVF).

I've started using a Pitrock deodorant - it's a salt crystal and it kills off the bacteria that make your sweat smelly. You rub it on wet armpits after a shower.

I admit I was skeptical but it really bloody works! It doesn't stop you sweating by blocking the pores, it just stops the smell, but it's working where the Mitchum 48 hrs super strength ones just didn't.

The Dove Max protection cream is fab too.
