In my 20s and 30s also suffered with heavy periods. Was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. Went on to have 3 kids, I'm 44 in a few months.

Not had a period for over 18 months, GP not interested.

Today I was out shopping and started feeling faint, dizzy and hot. I felt so bad I had to sit down. DH was with me and said it wasn't hot. -

Travelling home in the car, felt travel sick which I've started suffering with in the last 6 months or so.

Is this the start of the menopause? Not had any night sweats.

OP change GPs - early menopause brings health concerns and you need to see a specialist.
Im 52 and have no symptoms like this - regular periods.

18 months without a period at 44 is not normal.
Is there any chance you are pregnant ???

No periods since 42 ??
You are at risk of bone and cardiac problems.
