Hi, I'm new, and don't know where to go. I am 32 and have been experiencing hot flashes for a few years. I have been tracking my periods religiously for the last 2 years and once a regular 24 day cycle is now fluctuating from a rare 24 days now to 29 with a definite upward trend, also my bleed has gone from 5 days to 3. My skins a mess, drying (not to mention increased facial hair) :-/. Regular heartburn. Basically I am pretty sure I am in early onset perimenopause. Apparently both my mother and grandmother experienced menopause by the time they were 40. So my question is, should I see a doctor? Is there anything I should do? My family is complete and I can live with the symptoms, but regarding long term health, should I be looked at? And finally, is there anyone else experiencing this?? I would love to know, as even many of my older friends are not yet at this stage.

Just one more thought- you may need to investigate PCOS because you mention the facial hair.

See your dr anyway- it's important.
