Nausea and loss of appetite - possible symptom of peri-meno?

For several weeks I've had what I can only describe as morning sickness, and feeling nauseous at meal times. I take a bite or two and feel full. I am 48.

GP has done every test under the sun to rule out any nasties, and nothing seems wrong on paper.

The last time I felt so repulsed by food was when I was pregnant, and all I could face was Coke... hence the idea that this might be hormonal.

Anyone else has faced this?

Hello Smile

I am peri meno and I know exactly what you mean. I suddenly feel really hungry but then can't decide what I fancy eating. Nothing tastes quite right and I'm very quickly full. Often feel quite nauseous too.

I remember feeling exactly the same when I was pregnant years ago. Would sit down to a big meal, only eat a few spoonfuls then push my plate away.

So, pretty sure it's hormones.
