Weird skin feeling - is it a menopause symptom?

A few times a day the skin on my forehead above my right eyebrow feels as though it's tightening up towards my hairline. Could it be a symptom of menopause or is it more likely to be just a twitch? It's quite distracting as I always feel that I need to rub it when it happens.

Formication is like insects crawling on your skin- and is a sign of menopause. (As opposed to fornication which is entirely different)

Yes, it probably is just a twitch. I'm looking out for symptoms because I'm fed up with having periods and I'm pushing 50, but nothing's changing.

50's not that old. Average age is 51-52 but many women hit 54/ 55 .
