On HRT 1 year, night sweats for last month

Hi I've been on Elleste Duet 1mg since last April, Ive been getting night sweats for last month or so. I wake up freezing cold and wet, even sleeping naked. We don't have the heating on at night, is there anything I can do to reduce this? I only drink decaffinated coffee and don't really drink achohol. Is there anything else that would help?

You might need a higher dose than 1mg if your own levels of oestrogen have dropped. The starting dose of HRT is not always the one you will end up on medium-long term. Think about maybe changing to Oestrogel because you can then tweak the dose yourself from 0.75mgs to 3mgs - just use a different amount for a few weeks and see what helps. You will also need to use a separate progestogen for bring on a withdrawal bleed.
