Hrt patches

I've started on hrt patches on Tuesday after suffering for many months and not having a period since October last year . This morning however I've started my period albeit very light . Is this normal after starting hrt ?

It's probably nothing to do with the HRT- you may have started anyway because it's quite common to go for months and months then have one out of the blue. It will take several months for your HRT to override your natural cycle if you are still having natural periods.
