hi,been to see my gp as every month a week b4 my period without fail i feel like crap,it got to the stage i had to get it sorted,doc said it mite be pri menopause and done blood tests,they came bk in not in menopause but on the border,but my estrogen levels came back very low ,doc has gave me prempak-c but im worried to take them as i have family history of dvt. if you are taking prempak-c ,or have any info on them,i would much appreciate it. many thanks

Did your dr not do a medical history check first?
(BTW your post was v hard to read due to 'text ' speak- might be easier for people to reply if you didn't abbreviate words and used some full stops.)

Prepak is an old type of HRT where the oestrogen is made from horse urine. There are many more types of HRT now where the oestrogen is made so it is like our own- called bio identical.

If you have a high risk of blood clots then patches or oestrogen gel is recommended rather than pills which have a higher risk.

You need to go back and discuss your family history and see what they advise. The risk of clots is very low anyway but it's worth talking to your dr.
