Due to menopause?

I'm 43. Mum finished period at 46. Have a friend who is had menopause with no period for over 2 years. My times for period are now becoming less predictable over last 9 months. Was always regular, 28 days every month. Had IVF, and hormones showed egg reserve low. Had 3 successful pregnancies, one IVF baby and 2 normal pregnancies, I am due today but no period thus far though my cycle usually 26-28 days now, occasionally 35 days. No period symptom at all. Menopause?

Quite possibly.

But under 45, it would be classed as premature and it would be worth seeing your doctor as HRT may be indicated.

The wind down to menopause ( final period) can take 10 years. It's normal for cycles to change in the run up to this. Just keep an eye on what happens and if you think you are going the same way as your mum see your GP. Have a read of the Daisy Network site for info on prem menopause ( before 47.)
If you do have one the advice is HRT up to the age of the average menopause at least to protect your bones.
