Bleeding on HRT

Hi - have been on HRT for less than a month (Indivina) - missed one tablet while on hols, two days later had dreadful stomach pains followed by what I could only describe as a period like bleed - still bleeding 2 days later.... still taking my tabs but not sure what to do ? Is it because I forgot one tablet? Or something else? Sweats have also come back after getting almost immediate relief on starting the tablets.

I thought going on HRT was the cure all - naïve me :-)

Try not to worry. You ought to have been advised that it takes up to 3 months to settle onto any HRT regime and in that time there can be odd bleeding.
Unless you are post meno ( no natural periods for 12 months) then your own cycle can break through at the start.
If you missed the progestogen part of the HRT ( assuming you are on sequential and not combined??) then that could account for the bleed.

Just carry on and keep taking it as prescribed. And give it all a bit longer to work!
