After 12 months of being period free I start again the exact same day as my 15 year old daughter has hers ,last year I had gone three months and the same thing happened, is it because it's the summer holidays and we are around each other all the time , has anyone else had similar experience

Women do tend to sync their periods its a hormone thing. So yes probably because you are around each other a lot over the holidays you are picking up on her hormones.

Often lived in shared housing and we all got them at the same time!

Similar but from the other side - after sis and I had both left home and mum hit the change, she commented that any time either of us was back home for a while, she'd get a period even though they had pretty much stopped otherwise. Just being around hormonal women is enough for your body to pick up on it.

Im going through premature menopause and have not had a period for 12 months and because of summer holidays I have seen her a lot. She has mentioned that her period is late. I woke up this morning to find that ive come on ( not sure if its a proper period) and my sister called and told me she has had her period today. *feels weird.
