Hi, my periods are all over the place at the moment. I am going on holiday on Wednesday and was wondering if I took Norethisterone now would it stop my period. ? I have been having lower back pain and stomach cramps for the last few days, a sure sign of an imminent period but obviously dont want to come on on my holiday. Can anyone help?

If not you needs a drs appt because you can't buy over the counter- and they would advise if you could take- might be too late for this cycle. Have you tried googling for the info?

Have you tried taking ibuprofen from first thing, every 4 hours, during your period to help reduce the flow?

Thanks I have some norethisterone. Will give ibruprofen a go if/when it starts.
