HRT Patches & Skin Irritation

Hi all,

I had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago, age 39. Ovaries left in, but no longer working. I've been on HRT patches for around 3 years. But the skin irritation is getting worse. Have tried pretty much all of them. Plus, I am on a dose of 150 and these patches (which my skin tolerated at first) comes in 50s. So I have 3 patches on at a time which means 3 x the irritation.

I am thinking about asking my GP about to switching to tablets. Has anyone done this/anyone take tables instead of patches? Are they as effective?

Many thanks,

Ha
