i had an hysterectomy 3 1/2 years ago at th age of 33 and was told to give it about 4 years then i may experience some menapausel signs well just recently im having some signs but not sure if its them or not im crabby im hot and sweaty and itchy , i took my son to hospital last week and with windows open and fan on i had to go outside as i could feel sweat running down my back , my hair is falling out in excess again i keep bursting into tears over songs and i did it when i went to buy my dd sanitary towels my kids say its like ive switched the witch switch on any help or advice is accepted thanks x

Please go and see your GP and ask for blood tests.
It's true that the op you had can bring menopause forward but this is usually more common in women who are already in their mid-late 40s or 50s.
If you are entering menopause then it's absolutely vital that you take HRT until the average normal age of meno- 52- otherwise your bones and heart are at risk.

I don’t think you are suffering from menopause, since first stage of menopause started from age of 35 and you are of 33 only. Menopause shows some signs and symptoms such as irregular periods, hot flashes, night time sweats, weight gain or weight loss issue, vaginal dryness, mood swings, loss of libido, insomnia and more. im 37 now was 33 when i had it done ive read through the that were posted and now just need to wait for my drs appt at the end of the month

I am finding more and more, that the things I thought I knew about menopause are not exactly the reality. I am 53 and in 2015 I have had only 4 periods; February, May, July and December.
I thought I was having hot flushes at night, but this turned out to be a high temperature due to Pleurisy. Day time flushes I eventually realised were caused by stress in my job.
I think I was trying to match my periods/menopause/angst to some kind of pre-defined criteria, rather than accepting that there will be changes in hormones and lifestyle and all that it entails.
On the plus side my Pleurisy cleared up after 6 weeks, but I can advise you that apart from a blood test, a couple of anti-inflammatory tablets and blood pressure been taken, there is no medication for Pleurisy. In addition to this, I changed my job and have no more stress.
Mood swings can affect everyone at any age and for many different reasons.
My old work Mantra? Do it till it's done. My new one? Take a ticket please.

I remember back to my days of being a young Mom and feeling that I had to measure myself by my perky neighbour who seemed to look great all the time and had pristine babies and a tidy house.
Whether you are a teenager, young Mom, older Mom or Gran, please remember this: Sometimes it is ok, not to be ok. In other words, don't expect so much of yourself all the time.
