HRT patches - advice and tips please

I've been prescribed Evoril Sequi HRT patches.

If you're using patches I'd be grateful for any helpful tips and hints - where to apply them, when to change them, side effects, when they start working etc.

Sorry this is late reply.
I've been on them 2 years with great success. I change them twice a week at night, putting an alert on my phone to remind me.
I alternate top of buttocks & have had no problems with allergy.
No S/E apart from lack of hot flushes.
