There was a huge improvement after 8 days. I was ready to give up, and suddenly, it was ok!

I am only on the second, and it has been fine so far.

I have had noritisterone in contraceptive pills before - on one, I bled constantly and on the other, it was fine - so waiting to see.

The first few days were really awful though - I was taking them because I have joint pains and but on day 3, I woke up in the night with a stiff painful neck and had to wake up properly and massage it so I could move! Then next day it was better. I was feeling spaced out and could not keep my eyes open in the afternoon and kept feeling hot.

I started taking them in the evening when I brushed my teeth, but now take them in the morning with my breakfast, in the hope that any fluctuations are more likely to be evened out. Day 6/7, I was thinking I can't bear to take another one. Day 8 - normal, with normal aching :D

Good luck - hope it goes well. There is a thread on menopause matters forum where a lot of people have no problems at all.

Just reporting back to say I am nearly at the end of the green ones, and so far, so good. Much better than expected.

Some constipation issues, but solved by eating a lot of fruit at breakfast (inc kiwi).

Now got to wait for the bleed bit....hope it happens before I go away in a week or so.
