Feeling really down - can anyone recommend something?

Since becoming perimenopausal I am very aware of my personal smell.
My bottom and thighs have started to sweat and it smells awful.
I have a fishy odour that I can smell despite regular showers, clean clothes and antiperspirant.
Has anyone else suffered from this? What do you use for personal hygiene?

Might be worth asking your GP as I'm not sure a fishy odour is usual. Also make sure you wear pure cotton underwear. Good luck!

You need a vaginal swab to check for infection, you shouldn't be smelling like that.

You might be suffering a common condition known as bacterial vaginosis. The constant showering and use of toiletries can alter the ph of down below and make it worse.

Worth seeing the gp to properly assess you and prescribe the right treatment for you.
