Hi am new to the site, please can anyone give me some advice. have been on Elleste duet 1mg for about 8 months, this stopped the sweats but I still had joint pain, no energy and felt like I was going bonkers (poor memory) have just finished my first month of Elleste duo 2mg, however my period has lasted 8 days with no sign of giving up and I also have started with irritable bowel problems. Has anyone else had these problems would I be better going back to the 1mg.

That's rubbish isn't it?
Have never used Elleste duet or any other type of HRT pills , but you might be better off on patches or gel of just oestrogen, and then get the progestin you need through tablets- such as norethisterone or Utrogestan. That way you can tell which hormone is causing your side effects.
Too much bleeding is usually down to too little progestin.

Are you making any lifestyle changes to try to help generally- reducing caffeine, taking daily exercise, eating well etc?
