Braxton Hicks-like contractions during perimenopause

I've not had a period for 3 months (only a little spotting one day - don't think I can count that as a period). Anyway, every now and again I feel contractions not unlike Braxton-Hicks - quite pleasant really and nostalgic. Is this normal during perimenopause?

Never heard of it, but my sample size of people I know going through the menopause is quite low.

Never heard of that one before, but just about anything can happen during the menopausal process as things settle into the new state.

Perhaps worth a trip to the GP to check that everything is indeed within normal. Any other menopausal symptoms?

Only the occasional hot flush and missed periods - I'm 47 so the right age.

It's quite normal to have period type pains around the time you'd expect a period, but don't bleed, during peri meno.

I have had those Braxton hicks like contractions too, now, during ovulation time for about 3 months.
