I have had three, yes THREE periods! Started on Apr 25th, started another on 9th May and started another today. Angry Each one lasting a week. No wonder I'm anaemic.

I hate being female sometimes.

Still bleeding. Sad Is 25/26 days now since I started this one. Not heavy like usual period, only need a liner not full towel but brown blood and every few days there's bright red fresh blood.

Is it worth going to GP do you think? Or will he tell me it's my age???

Yes, your GP should take this seriously. If you are anaemic they should be prepared to offer you something to help. I had similar problems earlier this year and have now had an endometrial ablation, which was a day-case, simple procedure, and it has been brilliant. From bleeding more days than not, with huge clots and lots of flooding, (sorry, tmi) I now hardly notice my period and feel so much better in myself. Even if this is not suitable for you I think you need something to help you through this. Brew

It is hormonal- treatment is progesterone or the mini pill- had lots of friends who had this.
