Vagifem help, ladies

Hi there, bloody doctors eh!! After one course of vagifem (fantastic thank you), i had my 3 months off (not fantastic) so went back on thurs for new supplies. Doctor gave me my script and i happily went off!
Just as I left surgery, i realised that she had only given me 15!! (that would be used in the first 2 weeks as daily dose) when i should have received 3 month supply. I went back and spoke to receptionist who said that she would speak to doctor and to come back tomorrow!!!
I go back next day to find that script is at chemist who cannot give it out as vagifem is now 10mg not the 25mg she prescribed! So receptionist says doctor will ring me!
Then get a call from receptionist saying that i am now on 10 mg and the script has been changed to 25 pessaries.
Have just realised that 3 month supply should be 34 pessaries, what is doctor playing at?

Should i whinge at pharmacist and see if they can do anything or do i have to go back to GP? I could collect them but then i would have paid full prescription with a month short which hardly seems fair! (i know its not loads of money but still!!) Or should i suck it up and go back for more in 6 weeks? Many thanks ladies. By the way is 10mg working as good as 25mg?

Really no expert on this -- try the menopause matters website where there is a very lively forum on all of this. Your GP doesn't sound very impressive.

My doctor says that the research indicates that there is no need for a break now if all going well, so I get 24 for three months (as no 'recharge' is needed if you aren't having a break). I'm finding 10mcg is fine (I used to use the 25s - (which ARE still available, as the pharmacist accidentally dispensed them to me the other week), but with the 25s I was on the 3 months on/off thing.

And no idea why I said that twice!
