Can low blood sugar be a symptom of menopause?

Any advice appreciated here. My blood test shows normal but as well as experiencing other menopausal symptoms, I keep getting hunger, trembling, weakness and sweating but once I've eaten something things seem to settle down. I used to get this when I was due a period. Anybody else experienced this or offer any advice? tks.
