Bleeding

My last period was in February and lasted about 10 days. I started this period on Aug 15 th and it is still going! ! I have been to see the GP, blood test done, and I have been fast tracked to see the gynaecologist next week. I still await results of blood test.
Has anyone been through this?
Apart from rest ( ha ha) any advice on how to deal with the continuous bleeding.....it is really getting to me now. Also I do have moments of light headed ness .

It's a pity that your dr did not give you progesterone tablets pronto! That's the remedy, assuming you have nothing sinister going on which is unlikely.

You are probably anemic now which is why you feel light headed. I don't think there is anything you can do short term, but taking iron tablets or Floridex supplement might help a bit.

Thank you. I should get my blood test results tomorrow . So will find out iritis hormones, thyroid or I guess something else. The doc said he didn't want to give me anything as it might interfere with the blood results. I have felt very lightheaded today , more so than other days .
