i'm 39 - my children hate me and period is starting again after 2 and a half weeks.

I'm sure your children don't really hate you. How old are they? Sometimes some children act as though they do sometimes just to test us or if they are thwarted in some way...
If you are periods are becoming irregular it is possible that you are beginning the peri-menopausal srtage although you are still quite young. Is this the first time your cycle has got shorter? Maybe it's just a temporary blip?

Yes it's normal. I'm 40, my kids hate me and my periods are all over the place :o

I'm 39 and have been like this for a year now. Sometimes they are normal other times I am late or really early. Was your mum quite young when she went through it? I ask as I read that it can indicate if you are likely to start early.
