Hi ladies , can anyone give me advice on Red Clover, my GP thinks i could be pre menapausal and has suggested i try this . I wondered if anyone has any experience of it ?? Confused

Hi housewife19 - whay does he think you are pre-menopausal? What symptoms are you getting and if you don't mind, how old are you?
Studies into Promensil - a commercial formulation containing Red Clover found that "the totality of evidence does not support these claims" (that Promensil relieves hot flushes and menopausal symptoms).

No harm in trying - but the effect may be placebo, or maybe your symptoms would decline anyway - as they do stop and start in peri-menopause stage, as hormones fluctuate.
