Itchy rash on HRT?

Has anyone else experienced this? I started HRT 3 weeks ago and about 10 days in I developed a rash all over my trunk. Lots of tiny, bumpy spots -very itchy especially at night. At first I thought it was a heat rash (hot flushes in a heatwave - phew! ) but the outside temp has cooled a lot and I still have the rash 10 days later. I have been coping -just with calamine lotion and antihistamines, but I feel like scratching my skin to shreds, Am waiting for my appointment to see the GP but want to see if this is a common thing. The drug info leaflet in the HRT box lists practically every symptom under the sun as a possible side effect, so its not very clear.

I started Livial a couple if weeks ago and I have very itchy nipples! There wasnt a leaflet in mine so I googled and itchiness is a side effect, because of your rash Im sure you'll have to change your HRT.

Could you stop it until you have spoken to your GP? It sounds very unpleasant or phone OOH dr for advice?

Thanks for that. I went to my GP and she told me to stop the HRT and wait one week before starting a new (plant based) one. The rash has improved but still not gone totally, so I just hope it is nothing to do with the HRT as Its been murder stopping as already the hot flushes have come back not to mention a mega period as I hadnt had one since Feb.
I started the new HRT today so hoping all will be well.
xx :)
