Just been given Elleste Duet 1mg today for my menopause , is there anyone who could tell me how they are getting on with it. Ive taken my first tablet today and just hoping and praying it will help me! I've read alot of messages on here and most are relating to hot sweats, although i do get really hot at times i don't actually sweat, but the worse of all is my lack of sleeping and terrible terrible mood swings, an emotional wreck ,crying, feel like i'm becoming a recluse it's frightening.......Any advice would be really appreciated.

Hi Dareihope, I’m on day 16 of Elleste Duet 1mg. After a year of misery, night sweats, hot flushes, insomnia and loss of libido, I can honestly say that so far this little pill is pure magic. All of the above have gone, I’m sleeping again and feel so much better. Green shoots of recovery in the bedroom too lol! I wish my GP had given me it when I asked for it a year ago! 🎉

Hi Girls
Thanks for the info regarding these HRT tablets, although there has been some improvement to how i was feeling 3wks ago (my mind set back then was in a real bad place indescribable to say the least) i still feel i'm not quite there yet but hoping in time it will only get better! As for the pills i was told to take the white ones first and then follow on with the green ones which i have done so far. Debbieboo could you not phone your surgery and ask the doctor clarify the way you should take them has most of us are taking them how it states on the packet? there might be a good reason for you to do it this way which we don't know about? Hope you get it sorted. BGeri i'm really glad to hear your feeling significantly better since you have taking them .....Hopefully i will eventually reach that point soon . Looking positive at long last , Thanks everyone x
