vaginal dryness? or something else going on?

My fanjo is definitely not playing ball with sex at the mo. Am not sure whether I have vaginal dryness (am 45, periods a bit erratic but no other menopause smyptoms). Or whether there's something else going on. Basically I've got a strong burning sensation as soon as DH is about an inch inside and there's no way we can continue. Lubes such as replens and the durex one don't help. Any thoughts? Is that what hormonal vaginal dryness feels like? I can put a finger inside and it feels fine, though obviously that's a tad smaller Smile

Do you think you have slight thrush? Maybe try treating yourself first? But it does sound like dryness.

How erratic are your periods?

I'd trot along to your GP and ask for some vaginal oestrogen- if it works then it was dryness, if it doesn't then think again- if it DOES work it should do the trick in a week or so.
