No period for 7 months.........

I am 48, havent had a period since October but apart from dry skin and hair, no other symptoms. Do the flashes etc usually occur before periods stop or could I still be in for the full menopausal experience?

I've had two years made up of 2 or 3 periods followed by a gap of 2 or 3 months, the last one being 6 months. In my case the hot flushes start a few days after the last period and continue until about a week before a period.
You could be lucky and not get them, not everyone does.

I had a period in October and then nothing for months.

I had hot flushes in March and they stopped.

I had a 1 day light period 2 weeks ago.

Waiting for results of blood test done last week.

Guess we're all different.
