menopause has it been and gone??

ok right i have never had regular periods from the start in my mid 20s i usually only had one every few months after the birth of my 2 boys i only got very light lasting a day 2 or 3 times a year, since the birth of my "surprise" daughter at the age of 42 i have had maybe 3 in the last 5 years none in the last 2 years i never had hot flushes although since her birth but im always hot when everyone else is complaining its cold, not bad tempered maybe a tad grumpy in the morning do you think menopause has been and gone?

so how old are you now?

if you have not had a period for 2 years- nothing- then looks like you are post meno.

im 47 now a little disappointing was hoping to give the dh hell through menopause lol x

Your GP can arrange blood tests - you may be peri-menopausal and the always being hot can be a sign of an overactive thyroid.
