Spotting during menopause

Hi, Had my first period in nine months in early September. Nothing since except in the last week when I had two occasions of very slight brown spotting. Is this normal? I'm 49 and started missing periods back in March 2009. Anyone else get the same?

you are not having spotting during the menopause- menopause is when you h ave not had a period for a year, and 2 years if aged under 50. You have not yet reached menopause.

What you are having ir irregular bleeding during peri meno- and it is normal.
