I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago at the age of 35 and I understand that it can trigger a slightly earlier menopause.
As I don't have periods anymore I'm not going to have an obvious way of detemining when my menopause is kicking in.
Get dreadful mood swings, snappier than a crocodile, breast tenderness, sweat more, skin has got spottier, feel warmer than I used to and am horribly forgetful, I regularly forget things as I go from the top to the bottom of the stairs and stand there like a lemon wondering what I'm doing
.
I did speak to a GP who said it couldn't be the menopause as I was too young
. I need to get a blood test really don't I?
Just having a moan really. I don't feel myself these days and it may well be down to my hormones fading away.
