Night sweats

I keep waking up to sheets soaking with sweat. I don't seem to be having too many problems with hot flushes in the day, just the nighttime.

Are there any remedies anyone can recommend or should I just keep washing those sheets...

Bump. Anyone?

Or should I just accept I'm past it and bugger of to Gransnet?

Watching this with interest because I've been having them for a few years now and the only solution I've found is to sleep on a towel.

My G.P says it's quite normal for the hot flushes to occur mainly in the evening, I do get the odd one during the day but the worst ones are in the evening.

Not sure sleeping on a towel will help as the top sheet gets soaked too.

Not night sweats as such, just very very hot, have a new partner and he can't believe how hot - temperature I mean, I am.

Hi there - I got very hot at night when i was peri-menopausal (and I thought that was the real thing!) - the actual hot flushes/night sweats came later when i was well on the way to being meno-pausal! Unless someone has a wonderful miracle natural remedy - for me the only true way to stop these is HRT! Works like a charm... x
