Injections to bring on early menopause -should I or shouldn't I ?

I had an ablation 2 years ago that has left me with a condition called adenomyosis which means that having sex / using tampon is too too sore. Gyn has advised monthly injections to bring on menopause and HRT to offset symptoms. Seems extreme but painful / non existent sex life making life with DH difficult. According to Gyn it is this or a hysterectomy. Please talk to me if you have been through this as I can't find any advice anywhere else. A bit despairing.

have never heard of your problem- what exactly is it and was it listed as a side effect of the treatment you had?

How old are you?

what's the point of putting you in meno then taking you out of it with HRT? Confused

is the thinking that your uterus will shrink or something with the artificial meno?

have you seen this?

If I were you, I'd see another gyane and ask for another opinion.
