Incredibly sore boobs?

Anyone get this? I'm 50, some minor peri-menopausal symptoms but nothing OTT...except my boobs. Verging on painful, am having to wear sport-support bra pretty much all the time. Bloomin nuisance tbh, not had this since I was BFing dc's (no, not preg). Is this some sort of last-ditch oestrogen tsunami?? Def cyclical, no lumps bumps, this is the third month in a row now, should ease off next week...someone tell me this will improve. Feel like I need to leave bra in the fridge overnight :(

I can't help you as I am not menopausal but I get the most painful breasts for about 10 days a month (prior to period). I can't have anyone bump them accidently without excruciating pain. It wasn't like this prior to having a child. So I feel for you. Sad

I'd say yes it is pretty common. I used to get that- it's like exaggerated PMT- simply means your hormones are all over the palce. I'd tend to get sore boobs but no bleeding. Didn't go on for many months though.

LOL at leaving bra in the fridge. Wish I had thought of that Grin

I used to get this too. Now I don't have so many periods and my boobs are fine. If only I could locate my sex drive ... Wink
